Azaibha Beach Waders Thursday Part I

Had another great couple of hours on the beach this morning. The tide was coming in but the pebble bar was still uncovered when I arrived. If I dont bore you I'll spread the pics over two or three posts as I'm still dont trust the site to bomb me out half way through posting pictures.

As always click for a bigger view. Some of them I have left quite large so hope they dont load to slowly.

First three are Western Reef Heron - White variant

The next few are a Golden Plover. Normally see these a bit later in the year and normally in small flocks not alone. I also saw a solitary Grey Plover but couldnt manage a picture.

The last two are the Terek Sandpiper who is still hanging out with the Sand Plovers. A better attempt than last week but I still have to come up with a cunning plan to get closer to this very skitish little bird.

I'll stop there for now and hit post, fingers crossed!! Post some more later from this mornings jolly on the beach.
