Although much of the country, that we saw, was still recovering from the previous regime I found it, and the people, to be very welcoming and generous, especially with their time.
The Delta itself needs to be seen to be believed. As it is on the migration route you need to seriously put it on your 'places to see' list. You won't be disappointed.
I hope you are not too bored or fed up with this series. Only a few more to come!
Best wishes, Graham

Spectacular photos, G, and lovely words to go with them :) Looking forward to Orkney and Shetland very much!
The egret is a Little, by the way - it would want a yellow bill and black feet to be a Great White:)

I'll have to go over the Egret photos again now, as we saw quite a lot of them......I might post them up here for you for IDs, if that's ok?
Cheers, Graham
Sure thang :)
I thought earlier on today- mmm it's Wednesday - that usually means Graham has one of his fabulous reports on the forum. Not dissapointed! Superb.
CJ
:) Thanks CJ....next one should be the Orkney and Shetland Islands.....
aiki:I managed to get 4, the first 2 I think are Littles; the 3rd I think is another Little, but not sure about the foot colour, and the last I think is a Cattle Egret?
Thanks!Graham
I agree the first three are Littles, but the last one looks like Great White to me. Cattle Egret is more compact with a smaller bill and shorter, paler legs, should also have a gingery crown and breast in the breeding season :)
Thanks for that!
See you soon....
Hi Graham,
