Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

For a hiking holiday you found some really good wildlife, Stuart. More excellent photos. Great to get a shot of the Fan-tailed Warbler living up to its name.
I feel I should be able to ID the dragonflies but I think I'll wait for aiki or Roy W so I don't make a fool of myself.
