Hi all
Thought you may be interested to see the winners of this years BWPA, check out the link here. The overall winning picture is a great image of a herring gull standing steadfast against a wave crashing against the rock where it has chosen to perch.
You can check out what Mark Avery had to say about this on his blog.
My personal favourite is the bottlenose dolphin picture by George Karbus, simply stunning. Be great to hear what you all think!

Ha! Steve Young's a friend of mine, he mentioned that he'd won a comp a while ago, but wouldn't tell me what it was! Well done to all of them, great photos :)

Some brilliant photographs. I have often admired Steve Young's photographs.
What amazing photos. We are really being spoilt this morning!!
Love all the blue hares; they are last winter for me. All the dragonflies in the dew - love the way they change from dark to light as the background does the opposite!!
The frog spawn is a fantastic abstract shot but I wondered if it needed spun 90degrees? I kept wanting to turn my head to one side!! Lol.

What beautiful pictures. I like the woodmouse so endearing

Excellent range of pictures. Torn between the dragonflies (so many so close together and so still) and the sand lizard, but I sway towards the lizard - looks so big and menacing!!! The camera never lies... yeah, right!

I'm agree with JudiM on this one and like the Wood mouse with his/her big black beady eye. The Cuttlefish image was rather fun too.

Hi IanH
Thanks for the info and the link
There are some absolutely superb shots amongst those.
My personal favourite was the winning shot, but the dolphin is my second favourite :-)
Best wishes Chris
