    Wow! That's a whopper ... I wouldn't like a sting off that ... Fearful. Great photo, thankfully on the other side of the glass!

    Often see the odd one here, but seem more about in the garden this year. Hopefully not in our roof!

    Despite seeming intimidating (because of their relative size), hornets are less likely to sting, even of you intimidate them. IMO.
