Mike, here is the intro. Thanks. Karen
Last season Maya, the resident Manton Bay female, surprised us arriving back 12 March the earliest date ever recorded at a UK public nest. The resident male, Blue 33(11), her mate since 2015, arrived two days later on 14 March and the pair successfully raised two healthy chicks. More details about the Manton Bay nest, including a table of the breeding data, can be found here.
Here’s wishing Maya and Blue 33 a safe journey home and for another successful season.

Good Morning All
I was taking a capture of the Sunrise and thought wouldn't it be nice if there was an opsrey in the capture though....
Voila one flew in carrying a big fish....
I take it was 33 dropping off breakfast for Maya (hopefully) if she doesn't hurry someone else may nick it.
EDIT: A few minutes later - Just as I suspected a CORVID is enjoying his share of breakfast too :-)
The sunrise will be a mushroom soon :-)

Osprey on the nest but cams are both freezing independently :'(
I see flybys...
This is unedited footage of the early activity:
And there's more to come :o
Morning All and thanks for all the updates.
When logging on I saw empty nest with just a fish,
then two crows appear
and now the EGs
Where on earth are Maya and 33?
This was the second time the crow had visited and tasted the fish (there's one eating as I type):
I don't yet know why the EGs left, the crow has now also left.
