Maya & 33’s Record Breaking Season so far:
Maya surprised us when she arrived back 12 March, the earliest date ever recorded at a UK public nest.
Blue 33(11), not to be outshone, arrived two days later on 14 March, making this date the earliest known for a returning pair.
On 28 March Maya laid her first egg, becoming the earliest egg to be laid in a UK public nest beating the current record by 5 days!
And in the early hours of 31 March, Maya laid a second egg.

Over the next few days we can expect Maya to lay another egg or perhaps she may lay another two! But let’s hope our record breaking pair enjoy a peaceful April and plenty of good weather while they incubate their precious eggs.

Maya sleeps while sheltering her eggs
Right! I've retired my March tab, so hopefully will have no accidental posts in the wrong month ;)
Just found the intrusion from yesterday, too late to post it anywhere now - in any case there are freezes at the crucial moments on both cams >:(
IMAGICAT
Evening, Scylla. Great news that intruding female 5N is back! She is Glesni's Mum. Hope her mate reappears as well. (I've just dropped in to the forum after we were out for a long evening--an excellent Bach's St Mathew's Passion.) I'm off to bed now--have a good night.
Kind regards, Ann
No sunrise this morning

Hi MARY Nice clear picture now 33 just arrived with bedding
May has got up at last and flown off 33 settles on the eggs
Yes the rain while wasn't nice for the Ospreys, we needed it to clear the cam. Makes such a difference seeing a nice clear screen Patily.
Camera is certainly so much better.
33 just got fed up with waiting to get on the eggs so flew off. Maya has a shuffle now he's left!
Birdies LG DU update.
Afternoon All and Happy Easter.
I have been watching on/off today and anytime I have looked in, it has been nice and quiet here .... just as it should be! Maya and 33 have both been bringing in nesting material and taking turns to incubate their two eggs. Earlier I think it was 33 who flew of the campost chasing someone.
A few random captures from this morning
09:58 - 33 with some nesting material
09:59 33, after delivering the straw, asking for a turn on the eggs :-D
10:24 33 and Maya having a little conflab ....
