Mike, here is the intro. Thanks. Karen
Last season Maya, the resident Manton Bay female, surprised us arriving back 12 March the earliest date ever recorded at a UK public nest. The resident male, Blue 33(11), her mate since 2015, arrived two days later on 14 March and the pair successfully raised two healthy chicks. More details about the Manton Bay nest, including a table of the breeding data, can be found here.
Here’s wishing Maya and Blue 33 a safe journey home and for another successful season.

Birdies LG DU update.
Personally I would prefer it left as it is ie monthly as it works well and there are already so many other threads. Additionally it is easier to look back as each month (or thereabouts) represents a phase ie March is arrival, April is Eggs, May is hatching, June is growth, July is fledging and August is Migration.
Just my thoughts :-)

Thank you, PATILY and ALISON for putting me straight :)
Since then, I found 33 on the nest for one minute but could have sworn I'd seen the pair of them, can't find them now :(

Must set the record straight on here - I didn't do the LotL thread, KORKY kindly did. And it's not (yet) weekly, it just depends. I'm actually on the side of monthly, all things considered :)
