Mike, here is the intro. Thanks. Karen
Last season Maya, the resident Manton Bay female, surprised us arriving back 12 March the earliest date ever recorded at a UK public nest. The resident male, Blue 33(11), her mate since 2015, arrived two days later on 14 March and the pair successfully raised two healthy chicks. More details about the Manton Bay nest, including a table of the breeding data, can be found here.
Here’s wishing Maya and Blue 33 a safe journey home and for another successful season.

Birdies LG DU update.
Two EGs just landed - it looked like a repeat of the aggression yesterday (or whenever it was) - the bottom cam has kindly frozen to show there were two, one is still there.
IMAGICAT
Someone has touched down a minute or so ago and flown up to the perch.
EDITING IN STUFF, so some will be after the posting time.
I got lost posting those snaps and have no idea if the right ones have been uploaded. Pics have been coming out far too big, but it looks as tho the only answer to getting the right size would be to resize first, which is not on !!!
Maya on the nest just now .
Looks like some hay has been brought in earlier? Most probably as Maya now having a little nest scrape
