Morning Mist and too Much Moaning

I had a lovely visit to Leighton Moss on Tuesday morning, the place looked stunning in the autumn morning light and there was mist over the mere’s and above the reeds. I headed straight down to the grit feeders for my first ever sighting of a Breaded Tit and was confronted by a huge crowd of at least 20 birders crowding around the path.

I took my place at the back  of the crowed after a pair of birders abruptly said I was in their  way, and stood next to a few other birders who were very unhappy that many within the crowd were talking among themselves and made comments about birders who had their cameras.

I stood like everyone else in the cold and saw my first female a Breaded Tit and I didn’t really care if people had a chat or took a picture, perhaps some people got up on the wrong side of the bed that morning or have a dislike for photographers, either way I was delighted with the sighting despite the cold and the early morning moaning!
