Wonderful day on Havergate island yesterday. Saw so many different birds and quite a few hare aswell.
These Avocets and Godwit were disturbed by a marsh harrier overhead.
We saw a common Scooter (from a distance)
A curlew and plover
Also saw cormorants, various gulls, oyster catchers, teal, wigeon, mallards, shovelers, meadow pipits and various geese. A great day out was had by all.
An excellent selection of photo's Michelle, thanks for posting these! We are all very happy you enjoyed your day. Hope to see you again
