BlueTit odd behaviour in nesting box with camera

Hi folks. Just joined up. We have a nesting box with a camera installed. We have noticed regular, increased activity inside over the last few weeks and Sunday night saw 2 eggs. Tonight I see 3 eggs, possibly 4. Will check the video tomorrow. My question - female does not stay on the nest during the day. She covers her eggs at about 5:30am and leaves the nest for the day. She pops in during the day a few times but does not sit. She comes back at night around 7:30pm and uncovers the eggs and sits. Is this normal? Don't the eggs have to be sat on all the time?
