In time the birds will fly inFrom countries far awayThey will emigrate to our countryAnd for a while they will stay.By instinct they will flyAcross the land and mighty seaBy day and nightWith hope that they find land safely. For all their courage and braverySome birds never make the journeyThrough the elements of time they have to flyRiding the thermals of the sky.And when they finally find a haven place of restIt wont be long before they start to build their nests. And when their nesting time beginsTheir young will shelter beneath their wingsWith loving care until the dayThey can spread their wings and find the way.Birds of the air can be seenOn rivers and lakes in flight as a teamWe think of those birds that never made the wayMay instinct be your guidance as you travel on your wayAnd when it’s time to fly back from whence you cameFor each year you have always been the sameTo grace us with your splendourAnd the beauty you have shownWe hope and wish that you have a safe journey home.
Poem sent in my George Rolling, 2012.
That is beautiful MrsT Thank you, It is especially poignant today as we hear the sad news that maybe Bynack is no longer with us! I hope it is just a problem with his tracker, if he isn't found we can hope he may be spotted like we hope for so many others who's trackers appear to stay still, and have a suprise visit one day!
