Didn't have to go far from Glenshee ski resort to find some wildlife - in fact I found snow buntings in the car park and red grouse...well they were pretty much everywhere! Also saw red deer, a good few ravens, buzzards but alas no mountain hare! Still, the snow buntings more than made up for that!
Anyway, here are a few piccies!
First, some snow buntings,
Red Grouse,
Ravens,
And last but not least a couple of red deer!

Stunning pics Kat!! Love them all! The snow buntings look funny flying through the air with their wings closed! (I remember Eddie the Eagle too....). Fantastic to get so close to red grouse and simply love those roe deer!! Never been able to get close to either in Scotland!! Shame about the mountain hares, but maybe next time? (PS Are these taken with the new lens?)

Haha I don't know, I was thinking it would make a good advert for the Famous grouse whisky though lol
Blackbird - it was brilliant seeing the ravens, I heard them first and was looking EVERYWHERE to try and see where they were and eventually two flew past calling to each other. I'd seen some kind of BoP go down on the hills just behind a ridge, only glimpsed it and wasn't able to tell what it was, I'd gone round to look for it but couldn't see it. I did wonder whether the ravens had seem something I'd missed though!
MarJus - yup, these are all taken with the new lense, needing a bit of practice in the snow though because everything was coming up a bit dark as there was little light up there and the clouds kept rolling in!
Thank you for the kind comments everyone!
