As i mentioned in my previous post, I went back to the River Ribble on Saturday to see the Sand Martins again, that at present are nesting in burrows high up the river bank cliffs. Once again I was not disappointed, and spent a few hours photographing and watching these delightful agile birds. This visit I wanted to try and get some good flight shots which isnt easy at the speed they fly, but with a little patience I got some ok shots. A great spectacle and well worth looking out for, there are more pictures on my site http://walksnwildlife.blogspot.com/

Wow! They are beautiful photos. After seeing Sand Martins recently, watching the speed with which they come and go I'm really impressed that you got photos of them and such beauties! They are not even blurred a tinsy winsy bit! Magic!
