You're on hols again T.J? This is the man that has Red Kites as a garden bird!! Still Hoopoe, Shrike & Bustard is a good start. Not to mention a foreign Cyril (looks like a Meerkat).

Wow Tony, great report and photos,  I wondered if you were on your travels.     As I look outside at the rain, the wind, the grey sky and see these beautiful photos and report .........I wish I was there   lol  

    Would love to see all the above and especially a Hoopoe and Shrike.    Keep 'em coming,  really interesting thread :)    btw,  the Cyrils say Hi ...... and ask if you can you bring them back some tropical nuts as long as its not coconut   lol

Gorgeous photos, TeeJay.  I always think of my late mother whenever I see a picture of a hoopoe - she thought they were lovely birds but would always refer to them as a whoopee, which always made me laugh!
