This morning a bluetit landed on a plastic bone that one of our dogs had left in the garden. It removed a dog hair that was attached. This reminded me that they liked soft hair for lining their nest.
Cue two willing (sort of) volunteers having their ears brushed. I place the hair onto the garden table under the same bone. Within 10 minutes this blue tit returned, transferred the clump of hair up into the cherry tree then made a few trips back to collect. Sorry for poor pics as taken from some distance and through glass.
'Tis good pic Sarah, shows us all we need to see, great story ... my cat is moulting so gets a good rake through in garden!
