I was on holiday down at St Ives this past week and came across this red beak blackbird. I was just wondering is this very common ?
I didn't realise Blackbirds have different coloured beaks! I'm only familiar with the yellowy/orangey beaks. There's 4 Blackbirds fighting over food in the garden as I type, lol.
We have a wannabe chough here too. Sorry for the photos being taken through rather grubby patio windows!
A closed mouth gathers no foot.
LOL! Can't beat a bit of e-cheology ;)
In my defence, someone found the thread for me and I didn't look carefully enough at the date when I replied.
