I looked for this year's thread which doesn't seem to have been started yet as it will be a few weeks before we see some of the young birds ......
so will start of 2024 with one of the first young to appear - a rather cute wild "funny wabbit" which was one of two kits seen. Only record pic taken through window.

Have a young robin visiting quite frequently but he's very flighty (pardon the pun) and doesn't seem keen on having his photo taken. Only other babies I have seen recently are some ducklings at a nearby pond/lake. Some big fish in there, so hope they survive. Not a very good post with no photos! I'll try and make up for it tomorrow if the weather is kind.
Love the pic of the 3 Amigos.
Only a distant record pic but the pair of mute swans where we live have had 9 cygnets which took to the water today - NINE
Well captured Hazy. Nine little cuties is rare ...
Nice and orderly Hazy.
Is that with the new R5 of the old 5D?

They were a bit closer today as the adults took them out for a cruise. !! Here's a few more pics ....
and there were two young coots, one being fed by the adult and also a Canada gosling .......
Super stuff. Great to see new life on the pond.
Baddesley Clinton Mallard ducklings, are growing up fast.....
A quick scratch before the pose....
and the pose....
and the lambs, also getting bigger
one even drinking from the big boys/girls water trough....
Tissington young of 2024
In my personal opinion, coot ducklings, the true ugly duckling.....
