As Hazel and Mike will know, there was a wasps nest at the entrance to the Marsh Covert Hide, which I understand has had to be closed for the time being.
Just a quick update for those who may be interested, it appears Burton Mere has a Long-billed Dowitcher.
I'm not sure if Hazel and Mike will recall the chap in the Bunker Hide thought he'd seen a red something or other, I don't fully recall what he'd said, or something like that. Looking at the photos posted it is in the same spot that we'd seen something similar.
