2021 Hoggies & earlybirds on my garden trailcam!

After having just the big male only for quite some time suddenly another has taken to sharing, a bit smaller with some odd dark marking & prone to silly dances! Lol

Great to catch up with two hoggies going nose to nose,:-) they are very busy Wendy, do you see any signs of the slugs being taken? I never did, they used to eat the dog food and just ignore any juicy slugs that I wanted taken!!

The smaller one has a penchant for raking at big slugs, found one in the box uneaten but quite dead a few days ago, not seen it eating any on any trailcam footage though!

Catch up with Hoggies ... four youngsters born across the road in neighbours hoghouse, then Mum led them off to new location last week ... great to have visits over last couple of nights to both of our feeding stations, they are very partial to chicken cat food in jelly

Now we have to keep close eye on them to make sure they gaìn enough weight to successfully hibernate!

I think our youngster now is almost adult size, when we have two in the garden, it's hard sometimes to differentiate between them. Only when they're close up is there a slightly noticeable size difference, unless, one is an adult female....

Great videos Wendy, the youngsters are looking good and finding food dishes easily, water too, lovely.
