2021 Hoggies & earlybirds on my garden trailcam!

Hopefully hoggies come back soon Wendy...Their food aint going to waste anyhow!

If the hogs have got any sense, they will at least sit out the current storm before they get up!

They went off so early last year that I was left worrying that they came to grief or left the site altogether ... wonder if I'll be lucky enough to see any this year ... none in my hoggie box!

Still no hoggies ... but what a wild night!!

I'm currently in the progress of building a new Hoggy/ Outdoor Cat box combination. Still a work in progress though, photos may be posted when it's done. :-)

It does look like the camera got a dose of the shakes there! I think the freeze a week or two ago put a lot of things back this year compared to last. Our frogs started to spawn at the end of Feb but then took a sabbatical and have only just re-started almost two weeks later. Maybe the hoggies are the same.

Could well be right about the cold weather Nige, 3 mating pairs of frogs in big pond, two lots of spawn last week then nowt!

Woodie has been coming to garden for several days now, very aggressive, only noticed today that he has an injured foot ... BB not put off at all!

The Woodie also looks as if it has something wrong with it's beak Wendy, or else it has picked up some food and is still have a chew!! The Collared doves are being persistent which is good to see, they always get pushed out by the feral pigeons here. Hope you get a return of the hedgies.
