Today was a glorious, sunny day here in Mitcham. I even caught sight of a Buzzard circling high above the garden (thanks to the Pigeon Mafia, who took to the sky when they saw it). I was also visited by the Greenfinch pair. The sunshine afforded me the ideal opportunity to catch their glorious colour. The male was partially obscured by a twig, but the female was out in the open.
The seldom seen single winged Greenfinch
The Greenie kept looking up at the sky. I wonder if he too spotted the Buzzard?
Stay safe everyone...
