Very nice Paul C, love the Gadwall fly past.
Thank you WE, and Happy New Year to you too.
Nothing very special, but since we were out on Christmas Day, here's my festive threesome.
"Let loose the Kraken!"
A lovely selection once again from everyone. My three favourites from december are all waders from East Lothian.
Mixed waders at Musselburgh.
Knot (in flight), Bar-tailed Godwit, Dunlin, Oystercatcher, and there were a few Grey Plover about but I'm not sure if any are evident in the photo....not always easy to tell when they have their heads tucked in.!! :-)
Sanderling fly-by at Aberlady.
Oystercatchers at Barns Ness.
My bird photos HERE
Great pics everyone. Happy New Year.
My efforts were poor for December but here we go with my three, all taken at Manningtree.
Mute & Black Swans, Pintail, Godwit.
Very nice Paul A, and I hope we are not going to have a spot the Grey Plover lol

LOL.!! Not this time, Jim. I just zoomed in on the original and can't find them myself, but I have just noticed that the higest Knot (2nd from the right) actually has coloured rings, so I'll send the info away and see what comes back. Thanks for making me look closer. :-)
I see it too now
:-)
Well spotted Paul & amazing photos everyone
Best wishes
