Here is a collection of highlights from three very recent trips to Minsmere.
Young Water Voles showing well and very close.
Chiffchaff near South Hide.
Hobbies seen over the East Scrape from the Dunes, there were a lot of Dragonflies about.
Kestrel.
A Stonechat making fly catching leaps.
Bearded Tits making fleeting appearances along the path from South Hide to the Sluice yesterday.
At yesterday's bird ringing a Lesser Redpoll makes a very undignified but successful take off after processing.
Minsmere continues to be a very rewarding place to wander around if you are patient.
Best Wishes,
Trevor
