  • Nick, that is so cool! I'm so pleased to see you're OK - we were only talking about you earlier this week and, as if by magic, you appear! How have you been? I hope you've been able to get everything you needed over the last few months.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • Hello again Nick, well that is some lockdown style and colours! Are you going to try something different or maybe have a trip to the barbers!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Ya I'm doing ok keeping busy. but5 not sure when i will be back to Minsmere though? I'm not wanting to go out and having bad dreams about this Virus but I'm they are only dreams. I have my own pond my brother helped me to build and within in putting in the plants i had Dragonflys coming to the plants.

  • Well done on building the new pond, that would have given you lots to do. Once the plants establish it will all look lovely and colourful. Keep safe and take care.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • Looks to me like you're recovering a mis-spent youth! :-) Either that or a bit of an accident with the hair clippers:-)

  • Wow a blue crested Nickatoo, you trying to compete with local wildlife Nick? I have not gone that far but my wife has cut mine as I don't want to go to hairdresser yet. Good to see your ok and still posting. Keep well and stay safe.

    Wow a blue crested Nickatoo,

    LOL!!!!!!!  That's brilliant!

  • Great to see you are safe and well Nick - I was only asking after you last week, so I guess your ears were burning. Not as much as that hairstyle though.
We miss your banter and humour around the reserve and while we'd love to be able to see you again soon, we fully understand that you need to keep yourself safe at home. I do have a request from my colleagues - we need that hairstyle (or an even wackier one) in person when you are next able to visit! In the meantime, enjoy the pond and wildlife in your garden.
    Stay safe
PS: please send our best wishes to Margaret too
