Mike, here is the intro. Thanks. Karen
Last season Maya, the resident Manton Bay female, surprised us arriving back 12 March the earliest date ever recorded at a UK public nest. The resident male, Blue 33(11), her mate since 2015, arrived two days later on 14 March and the pair successfully raised two healthy chicks. More details about the Manton Bay nest, including a table of the breeding data, can be found here.
Here’s wishing Maya and Blue 33 a safe journey home and for another successful season.

Sorry, I've been sitting here in a fugue :-/
Cam#1 Version, supposed to be "enhanced" and slightly sharpened but you can't see the ring clearly at all. I've shortened it but assure you its right leg didn't budge ;)
The number on Cam#2, but all I think we can tell is that it's unlikely to be 33. EDIT - Rutland have ID'd as Blue00(09), see other posts.
Cam#2 version:

I'm doing the Cam1 version again because it's come out so awful >:(
EDIT
I've replaced the Cam#1 version above.
00 was hatched at Site B and her father was the famous 03(87) AKA Mr Rutland
1987 was the first year I helped on the project.
Little did anyone know then what lay ahead and what an influence the project would have and continue to have.
Thanks Scylla for the captures/vid and Sheila for the FB ID. Good to see another back. So that is six we now know of.
