Mike, here is the intro. Thanks. Karen
Last season Maya, the resident Manton Bay female, surprised us arriving back 12 March the earliest date ever recorded at a UK public nest. The resident male, Blue 33(11), her mate since 2015, arrived two days later on 14 March and the pair successfully raised two healthy chicks. More details about the Manton Bay nest, including a table of the breeding data, can be found here.
Here’s wishing Maya and Blue 33 a safe journey home and for another successful season.

Tweet from Rutland - the fish is huge !!
Well I never !!!! For I have just seen the numbers disappear again. And no I am not mad.
The view of the page contents change depending on the window width!
If using multiple windows and fitting them on your screen, should the window be too narrow, the numbers disappear and you only see 2 arrows also the content at the right hand side ie the "latest post" list disappears and is re-situated under the arrows.
And if you widen this window a little then the numbers show and the "latest post" list is placed on the right hand side.
same post but two different views. Mystery of the numbers solved :-)

The quote didn't work, in that it was not shaded, so I've tried to add some :o But it only shades behind the text, not the picture.
Just the beginning, cutting to her fly-off:
Maya just had a little vigil:
Morning Patily ... I don't recall it either! I too hope today is the day we see 33 and this pair reunited.
