The season so far:
33(11) and Maya both arrived back within hours of each other on the 22nd March. Maya surprised us this year by laying four eggs on the 4th, 7th, 10th and 13th April. Currently both adults are taking turns to incubate the eggs which are expected to hatch in the second/third week in May.

Adorable, isn't it Birdsong :-)
I wish Maya would get rid of that empty shell. I always think they can be dangerous for newly hatched chicks. It has now fallen under her.
It is raining again and Maya flat out sheltering the eggs and her chick. Perhaps that is the reason the last feed was cut short.
I'm off now. Its been a wonderful day :-)
Great to see the little bobblehead, the first of the season!
What a colourful fish!
