The season so far:
33(11) and Maya both arrived back within hours of each other on the 22nd March. Maya surprised us this year by laying four eggs on the 4th, 7th, 10th and 13th April. Currently both adults are taking turns to incubate the eggs which are expected to hatch in the second/third week in May.

About 5 minutes ago 33 arrived and swapped over with Maya.
After a short break, Maya returned and started working with the branch 33 earlier brought in placing it at the front !!
she then went over to 33 who was not for getting up :-D and then lifted a fish from behind him and took off with it.

It has never brightened up here today and still looks chilly!
There has been nothing much to report this afternoon, which is good :-) It has been the usual routine here .... Maya and 33 have been swapping incubating duties and turning/checking the eggs.
Blue33 has been on the nest mantling, I'll see if I can find out why but have not seen an intruder...

Good Morning ALL
Thanks for all the updates here
33 was on the nest, looks as though maybe an intruder around, then he flew off.

Nothing seen MC and Mary but plenty of aggression before he took off.
Birdies LG DU update.
No-one seen, it went on for nearly 4 minutes!
33 now back and takes over from Maya who has flown. No fish involved.
33 incubating just now. I always feel a bit sorry for him as hatching approaches as his sitting days are numbered.
