Hi everyone - just letting people know that it's wellies-only access for the next few days as water levels has risen following high tides and heavy rainfall.
The paths to all hides are currently under water and only really accessible with rubber boots.
If you are planning a visit, it might be a good idea to call ahead to check on the conditions as this could change on a daily basis. The visitor centre number is (01524) 701601.
Also, if you haven't heard - we have closed Lower Hide for the meanwhile. We have some concerns about its condition and have made this decision on grounds of our visitors' safety and wellbeing. We are having the structure assessed and will wait for the results before deciding what we do next. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Thank you
Jon Carter, Visitor Experience Manager
