I thought I'd post a few photos of a bittern taken at Lower Hide. I know from the LM blog that there is a nest nearby but they were all taken about a month ago when she was showing on the edge of the reeds to the right of the hide. I've been back every weekend since, and the hide has always been very busy, but she now seems to fly up out of the reeds and across the water.
