Ive just seen what must be one of the RSPB wardens at Leighton Moss with sort of machinery appear on the Leighton Moss webcam on the Internet in the reedbeds doing some sort of work. I don't know what he was doing. I'm just quite curious as to what he was doing.
Regards,
Ian.
Was he using a Reed Cutter T? There seems to be much of this type on maintenance work happening at wetland reserves at present ... maybe getting it all set up for Autumnwatch cams & the like?
Didn't know there was an LM webcam!
Edit: Have it now & it does make me wonder what else I am missing!

It could have been a cutter, unless it was one of the BBC engineers looking for places to place their camera's for the live pictures of the birds and other wildlife on Autumnwatch next week.
That camera is way out of focus.

How do you access the webcam ? Please
Hi Sue, there's a link here which gives a live stream. As you may already be aware, next Tuesday BBC Autumnwatch will be filming the program live from Leighton Moss so really looking forward to seeing what turns up on camera :)
