Thanks, MC, it was a very nice sunnt day, and saw a few other critters that I have not seen there before including this Rat.
I have seen lots of Pheasant but this Female looked very nice in the dappled light.
Lovely shot of the Female Pheasant. Wonderful colouring. How are the LM Robins doing?
The LM Robins are doing fine i saw quite a few but they did not want their picture taken MC.
Sounds like diva behaviour to me! I'm sure they will be more accommodating when they want some mealies. Keep the regular updates and photos coming, they are always a treat.
I had some fresh mealies with me but I never saw a lot of the smaller birds but I will be going again soon so will try and get some pictures of them, MC.
Go to LM's Flickr page for Robins. Best place for small birds is along the path from the centre to Tim Jackson. Just take your time and move slowly.
That’s what I have found, Alfoz, I baited the dead tree trunks while I was going to the Tim Jackson and Grisdale hides and on my return I saw something move on the first one on the right that I though was the Bank Vole but no it was a Weasel but sadly it was to quick for me to get a picture of it.
Some more from yesterday.
