Nice one Jim. How many Juvenile Robins did you see?
Unicum arbustum haud alit duos erithacos
(One bush does not shelter two Robins)
Zenodotus (3rd Century B.C.)
I only saw the one young, MC, and it looked like it was looking after itself I did see a parent but not any young next to Lillian hide but there might have been one hiding in the tree trimmings of the bushes next to it but it did not show it show itself :(I am going tomorrow so will have another look, and I had a look at the wall were the nest was but I did not find it and nothing seems to be going on but will keep my eye on this area.Jim
Ta
Never saw a young one or a parent in that area but I did see some adults around the reserve, MC.Jim
Called in again Sunday 20/04/2014A very nice sunny morning then the clouds rolled it at 12.00pm
Bank Vole
Great posing from the Treecreeper. The Robin looks splendid in the sunlight.
Thanks, MC, we had only just set off around the reserve at 7.15am and the Treecreeper and Robin showed up, I was unprepared I had the camera set to my favourite settings the treecreeper could have done with a higher speed seeing they are fast moving and don’t like stopping and also being in the golden hour the sun is that low it give a reddish warmth to your pictures.
Hi Jim,
