Sightings on 23rd June

Hello. This is my first post on a reserve so it might be a bit rubbish! Anyway as i was walking along the path to the reserve, in the woodland was 2 Chaffinch,1 Chiffchaff,7 Blue tit and 3 Coal Tit. When I arrived at Tim Jackson hide, on the reeds in front was a graceful, elegant  Mute swan. On the pool was 4 Coot with 7 chicks, 5 Moorhen,3 Teal and a Goosander. As I walked through the reeds to the Griesdale hide,I only just saw a Bearded Tit perched on top of the reeds. They are quite a rare sight on the Moss. Anyway, the raptor count was decent with Marsh harrier and Rough legged Buzzard both knocking about. From the lower hide was 2 Common Buzzards showing themselves and 2 Grey Heron aswell. There was a lot  of Male Pheasants to round the day off.

Not bad, eh
