I'm a regular Fowlmere addict, and have been trying to educate myself not just about the birdlife at the reserve but also about some of the other fauna (no time to get started on the flora, which I understand can be remarkable too).
Just a word, then, to say that it's been brilliant to see the stoat and otter (photos posted to this site and my flickr site - mrm27) as well as still numerous dragonflies and butterflies. Even though August to early September isn't always the most 'productive' time for seeing birds, it seems, there is plenty of other interest at Fowlmere.
