Has anybody visited Fowlmere recently and could give me an insight as to worthwhile trying it out as never been before?
Hi Ronni, I was over there last Tuesday. I had some cracking views of kingfisher close up and the infamous pied water rail from the Drewer hide.
Its a quiet reserve where stealth is well rewarded.

Echoing what Rich says, I'm a regular visitor and it's a gem of a place, a nice slow walk around and spending some time in the hides is well worth it, there's plenty to see there especially in the summer with the warblers such as this lively sedge :)
