If you go to Folwmere today, where the airfield is, look in the fields below. We saw two harriers there today - one was fine, walking around, the other was flapping and not leaving the ground.
Either it had found some nice prey and was dancing on it, or it was trapped in a line or something. It was there for about 5-10 minutse an hour ago (10), so if it's still there when you visit now then it probably is trapped and needs help.
Most likely just eating something, but I didn't have powerful bins (only camera) so I couldn't tell.
Have you alerted Doug the warden? 01763 208978? I understand you have posted this but he ought to be informed. Just let him know where and when exactly you saw it.
