The bridge OH built about 20 years ago crossing the small pond is about to collapse! It was simply painted wood. We've been looking at decking boards made from tanellised wood, but, though the modern proccess is wildlife friendly, the product itself is harmful to fish. Now, we've no fish in the pond, but wonder about other pond life. Don't think we'll risk it, but what does everyone think? Any ideas for an alternative? The bridge doesn't connect with the pond at all, it's just rainfall dripping off it into the water, and any leaching that occured, that would be the problem. Thanks.
