Hi there
The bird bath is a busy place today.
I have seen Mr Blackbird take 3 baths today (but he was camera shy when I aimed the camera at him) LOL
Mrs Blackbird was more happier being photographed.
The Blue Tit was just a thirsty little soul. The picture is a little quint oops never mind
Regards
Kathy and Dave
Lovely photos kathy, thanks for sharing :o)
Birds are so comical when they're in the bath aren't they?
It must be lovely to see them having a good bath, I've still not seen the birds use mine to bath in, I've seen them drink from it, which has made me happy at last they don't drink from the dirty guttering when it rains they are getting nice fresh clean water.
There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need but not for man's greed.
Thanks Kathy for sharing these lovely photos. I love watching them bathe. My blackbirds like to bathe, but on their own like the robins. The sparrows and starlings prefer the company of others. I've never seen other species use the bath.
Cheers, Linda.

Lovely photos Kathy. My bath was nearly empty when I got home from Devon today so I washed it and filled it up. I must have missed some good bathing as when I next looked the water had been splashed all across the path so something had been in for a good dip. I suspect the starlings.

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

Thank you everyone for your kind comments.
Hope that you had a great day out Sarah. I think it was the warmer day that caused the birds to bath so much as they have been doing so.
Birds love a good splash about and it is although they are loving every minute of what they are doing. I have never seen some birds bath together either. The blackbirds like their own space
my bird bath is my pond .all the birds sit on the top
Lovely photos kathy, our birdbaths are very busy too and I love to watch the antics.

Hi Kathy
Birds are so comical when they go in the bird bath, I could watch them for ages.
I have never seen any of the blue tits that visit my garden go anywhere near the bird bath, so it's nice that yours do.
Thanks for sharing these pictures with us.
Best wishes Chris
