woaahh think i just saw a blue tit coming out 1 of my nest boxes!! yay
can i do anything to make em feel comfortable enough to actually nest? i think they already might be yaaayyyy

Morning Ellie, It's that time of year when the Blue Tits and other birds will be checking out nesting boxes or sites; we've had a few in and out of the boxes checking to see if it is the place for them; they may inspect several before they finally make up their mind which to use so be patient, you don't need to do anything as they will bring in nesting materials once they have chosen their box - good luck :)

We don't have a problem with finding nesting material with 2,000 sheep and a mass of horses all around. As we move towards spring as fast as our horses are groomed the birds are taking it and layering their nests.
A bird in the hand can make an awful mess!
