Last year a pair of coal tits nested in an old box on a garden chair very near the house. This was knocked over by a visiting cat or fox. We have lots of fox visits as we have chickens! We upped the box, had a peep and much to our amazement found four babies. We put a brick on top and kept our fingers crossed - they fledged! They are now back - both parents appear to be building a nest or will they have laid already. It is just the beginning of March. We have hanging bird feerders but any advice to assist this rather daring couple would be welcome. Cheers
