Blue Tits

Hi we have been living in the Bungalow now for 38 Years this Month, a Friend made us a Bird Box for Blue Tits just after we moved in. We have had Blue Tits in the Box every year but one, i am Disabled and was having a extra Bathroom built on to the house, we had the box on a tree but youngsters were trying to get in side the box so my brother took it down, and was going to put it on the wall of my new bathroom, but it took longer than what they said so it did not get put up that year,, some one said i would not get them back but that year my brother put it up the Blue Tits Nested again. I contacted an infection when i went to the Spinal Hospital but they did not find out for a  year after i asked them to test for one, they thought i was a allergic to some thing, it was in an awarkward spot so i was house bound for a year. I had taken the Box down to clean it out just before my troubles started it was in the Garage but with me not been able to leave the house i never seen the Bird Box. I was sitting with my feet up looking across the living room and could see through the living room window, a Blue Tit was sitting on the back of a garden chair staring in the window i asked my wife if she could have a look to see if the bird bath was full of water she said it was low, so i asked her to fill it up, she came back in and the Blue Tit came back on the chair. So i thought there was a problem with the Bird Box so i pushed my self over to the window looked out no Bird Box, then i remembered it was still in the garage i asked my wife if she could try and put it up, so she got the ladders went out put the Box up she was coming up the path, i seen one then another Blue Tit fly in to the bush where they fly from to get in the Box. i opened the door for the wife to bring the steps back in and was looking at the Box and then one Blue Tit flew in then the other one, i asked my wife to get my binoculars  i was sitting watching the box and both Blue Tits were coming back with building matrial.  I have just finished repairing the box and going to get it put back up again and hope it lasts another 30 years. Some people say dumb animals nothing dumb with the Blue Tits where i live.
