Hi Everyone,
The last 2/3 weeks I've been enjoying watching the family of Great Tits nesting and feeding their young. However, this morning when I was gardening I discovered a large number of feathers scattered around in one corner.
And knowing that the adults use this section of the garden to break up the suet pellets on the ground into smaller chunks and the small feathers are coloured black, white and yellow. I can only assume its one of the adult Great Tits and I think I am only seeing the female going to and from the nest.
Feeling quite sad at the loss and just hope the female & her young are going to be ok.
