Fo the past three years I've had a family of Blue Tits nesting in the box I provided on my house wall for that purpose. I also have a Robin nesting box, but no interest has been shown in that! Anyway, by now the nest is usually built and there's a hive of activity as mum and dad are back and forth either building the nest or feeding young ones. But they have only just begun to take an interest in it!
I wondered if it had something to do with this weird weather? We humans are getting confused so obviously they must be too!
Hi Just Jayne, it might turn out to be a good strategy for this pair, if the weather is kind to them they may end up having a successful season in comparison to earlier nests. It's still plenty early enough so don't worry too much!

Brilliant, thank you!
