New visitors in my nesting box???

Some of you may remember that my nesting box (with camera) houses a variety of 'residents' each year. The first year I had blue tits with 8 babies in it, the next year bumble bees took it over after a short stand-off with the blue tits, and this year something strange has happened. It looks like a spider's web that is constantly growing. I am saying 'it looks like it' because it seems to be woven in some way, but not in circular form. It reaches from the opening of the nesting box to the opposite wall. Has anyone experienced something like this? Or do you know what it might be? Any suggestions welcome!!
