Blue Tits nesting in south facing wall

  • Last year Blue Tits nested in my house wall, south(ish) facing and gets too much sun, no babies survived. I filled the hole but noticed today that it has been opened up and birds are again starting to nest. Is it too late to fill the hole once more and prevent the same sad results of last year, or is there anything on the market that will offer some protection. Failing that any DIY advice - a white painted overhang? Thank you in hope of a better brood.
