We've been watching nesting tits via camera boxes since 2001 - but have never before seen serious fighting! The first fight was in Box 3 - on Boxing Day!
Then on Saturday there was one in Box 2 - involving three birds!

Thank you for the amazing photos!!! - where's the referee???? It's that time of year though, when things start to get fraught as birds begin to think about pairing up and establishing territories. These little squabbles are quite common amongst highly territorial species and by the looks of it, its not just the nest box that they are battling over!Claire
