I have fewer sparrows that before. I know this is everywhere. They used to nest is the roof. Should I pu up nestboxes, the holes should still be there in the roof. Should the boxes be higher up than the bluetit ones? If so, how can I clean them?

Welcome to the forum, i have tweeked your post so it is a bit more readable, hope you don't mind!
Putting house sparrow boxes up is a great idea. Ideally they need to be above 2 metres high in a place where they are relatively free from disturbance and facing either north or east.
However, if the holes are already in the roof space, the sparrows may have other problems that are keeping them away. Ideally they need shelter in the form of hedges and shrubs, access to water and dust to keep their feathers in good shape and insect food to raise healthy chicks.
The best ways to provide these things are to avoid garden chemicals, leave parts of the lawn to grow a bit longer, plant necatr rich flowers and not to cut hedges between March and August. A water feature and some bare earth are also good features to have in a sparrow friendly garden. Check out the Homes for Wildlife advice for further tips.
